Message Realistic is just an opinion, it is up to the person driving the car on how realistic it is to have a 10,000 rpm redline on a street car. Dan Millen drove his 7 second 200 mph “street car” through the BK drive through in the middle of the winter, even though most people wouldn’t consider it realistic to do so. My reply was in regards to this:

"You'd need a lot more displacement to safely produce that amount of power at a boost level that doesn't cause det."

That's a blanket statement that sounds a lot more like "impossible" then "unrealistic", but I guess that's just because of how I read it. My main point was 250 rwhp/liter on pump gas is possible and has been proven by a few people with real world results across a few different platforms, and their engines didn’t instantly vaporize. ;)

Lag is subjective as well, some people don't mind it as much as others depending on what they want out of the car. For example, in my personal experience the 700BB turbos are not at all "extremely laggy" for a use on street car, but your opinion is that they are.

Besides, I like these threads that vary from the normal “sport 500’s are best!” opinion that typically floats around here, it keeps things interesting. :)
